5/3/2023 0 Comments State of decay 3 review![]() On the other hand Ferals have been massively buffed to the point that one hit could equal death as they can keep bullying you while you're down while also being incredibly difficult to hit no matter what you throw at them. Zombies have been weirdly buffed and nerfed with Juggernauts being far easier to kill then the previous game, offering almost no challenge at all. My run ended when the game decided that I simply couldn't progress any further with my current leader leaving the game unbeatable unless I killed them off and elected a new leader. That being said you'll be lucky to finish a play through regardless between all the game breaking glitches that just kill survivors, spawn zombies at random, lock the camera, or render objectives unable to be finished even if you have met the criteria. If you do attempt to keep moral high you'll more then likely never advance in the story. At the rate you just randomly burn through supplies and new infestations continue to pop up, it's almost impossible to not suffer the low moral penalty. All objectives of the game boil down to "go here and fetch these supplies" or "go here and kill these zombies" which wouldn't be bad if it actually mattered. Unlike the first game State of Decay 2 can be summed up in just a few words Repetitive, Lazy, Glitchy, and Unfinished. But I thoroughly enjoyed SoD2, and look forward to playing the DLC, as well as Nightmare-difficulty co-op with friends.ฤก0% Xbox OneOne of the biggest disappointments of a game that I've ever played. Yes, it could use a handful of features to expand further on the gameplay. It's little details like this that make it so good, and based on the average review score, I feel like many people may have overlooked the love and attention that truly went into this game. That was when I knew there was so much more to the game. However, crabby team members can vary in their intensity and can still cause problems. This often forces dialogue between the two, and over time they become much friendlier toward one another. However, there is an unspoken alternative, which is sending two clashing survivors out on missions together. Clashing traits of your survivors can cause big problems in your community, with an option to exile survivors for not being worth the trouble. ![]() A great example would be managing community personalities. There are tons of small details that the game doesn't tell you outright, or are easy to overlook if you're not forced into resourcefulness or creativity. It forced me to really explore the details of the whole game instead of gliding over things. I usually run my first playthroughs on Hard difficulty, so ran through this one on Dread. Yes, this is a very car-heavy game, but I can imagine it getting extremely tedious and boring having to run everywhere (such as at the highest difficulty setting "Lethal"). 80% PCMaintains the fun and spirit of SoD1 while still expanding in areas to enrich and add to the premise of community zombie apocalypse survival.
